single bet calculator
So — been using this thing for about a few months now and I keep coming back, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I'm UK based, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — type in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, either odds format. There's also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, and that's where most people I know lose track. If you want a look, it lives at betting implied probability and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.
What genuinely shifted things for me was the nerdier tools. They've got an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie's taking, and there's the kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I'm spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The layout is pretty plain — zero frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it's usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There's nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Free, barely any ads, works. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

OK — been using this thing for about six months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. I'm based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context.
What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I'm on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. It also handles the multiples — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know lose track. Have a go yourself, it lives at kelly calculator betting and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.
One thing that really shifted things for me was the nerdier tools. There's an implied probability calculator which shows you what margin's baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too for when I'm spreading across selections.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout looks very functional, let's say — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it's usable although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there's no app, it's browser only — doesn't bother me but worth saying.
So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If you still does the maths on paper, have a look — it's saved me plenty of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
